Woooo Hooooooo we’re winding it down for 2013 and looking ahead with great expectation to 2014!   How did your year go?  Did you accomplish what you wanted to?  Here’s the good news:  It’s never too late.  Your destiny and destination awaits and you can tap in to it at any time.  No matter what the clock or the calendar says.  So yes look forward to the New Year with great expectation – this is always an exciting time – but don’t miss out on the here and now.  Let’s live today and everyday to the fullest!

Is this your assessment too?  Do you look at material things and use monetary values to determine the worth of your contributions?  Christ the King came so that we might have life and life more abundantly.  He gave of Himself.  In following His example, what do you have of yourself to give that will create life more abundantly for someone else?  A few things come to mind:  Positive and encouraging words, time, smiles, hugs, etc.  

So to honor Him today (and every day) let us shift the focus to our finest gift – the giving of ourselves to others.

Congrats on your move to bigger and better things my entrepreneurial friend.  Before leaving town she even gave me $1,003,000,000 dollars.  Yeah it’s fake money but that’s up to me to turn it into the real.  She says of herself, “I am a philanthropist, I earn millions and I give millions away to worthy causes.”

She is one who can be you too.  The above qualities of the heart are not gender specific.  This Thanksgiving (and beyond) let’s you and I do good, help others, shine our light wherever we go and share peace & love.  We’ll call it doing "The Versandra."  In the words of Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in this world.”

“Y” Not?

Y it’s O.K. to have a desired goal and a motivating source for doing the things that you do / want to do.  Hopes and dreams are what fuel & energize us, stimulate out minds and warm our hearts.  Do good and help others ABSOLUTELY – but focus on you too.  In my opinion, this is how in some ways life can become boring, blah-blah-blah and same old.  I ran into three friends at the coffee shop the other day.  Two looked the exact same and talked about nothing new or different.  Whereas the one was talking about her future plans, goals & dreams as I did mine.  We got excited listening to each other.  At the time of the conversation, we both decided to do tri-coastal living in the U.S. AND get a villa in a warm place.  “Great I thought, we can be neighbors!”  I believe we should always have a personal “Y” and it should always be a BIG ONE!
