GOT CHEESE for 2020 (and beyond)?


Ever feel like a mouse in the maze of life without cheese?  Cheese being defined as whatever you want in life. 

Don’t got cheese?  I know that’s improper English but you know what I mean. If you don’t have cheese then…..Who moved it / where did it go?

Basically we’re talking about changes that are bound to happen in life and when they occur how to adjust accordingly.  Life is a series of changes.  To expect things to stay the same ALL THE TIME is unrealistic.  Perhaps you’ve heard the expression:  When life hands you lemons – make lemonade!

So here’s how you can get to squeezing today.  Really the question is not “Who moved the cheese?”  But rather, “What are you going to do about it?” 
So……..…. Ready!   Set!   Let’s Go!
It’s time to leave the maze and have an amazing life.  The way out of the maze is as follows:

- Do not rely on assumptions or take things for granted.
- Expect change – it’s inevitable. Don’t count on things to stay the same, count on them to eventually change.
- Be flexible in thoughts and actions.
- Embrace the change when it occurs.  Do not fear but use it as a learning opportunity.
- Your security is not in circumstances but in your attitude toward the circumstances.
- Don’t sleep / dwell on the problem – quickly assess the situation and keep it moving.
- Stay focused on the goal.  NO ONE CAN STOP YOU BUT YOU – get out of your own way.

CONCLUSION & REVIEW

To ensure there will always be cheese in your maze:

- Release the fear.
- Be flexible in thoughts and actions
- Don’t overanalyze, keep it moving
- Don’t look backwards.  You’re  not going that way!

Life is an adventure – Live it!  Moving into action and taking control instead of playing the victim will empower you, energize you and spark you on to victory!

The Hiccups Cure

Grandma said to me:  “Little girl, this is how you get rid of those hiccups.”  1) Get yourself a tall glass of water (about 16 ounces will do).  2) Breathe deeply in and out several times to make sure your lungs are oxygenated (that’s a grandma word).  3) Take a breath and hold it (don’t let it out).   4) While holding that breath take little sips and swallows of the water until it’s all gone.  When the water is all gone – your hiccups will be too! 

Success tips:
If you take a breath during the water sipping don’t fret just start the process over again.
If you experience hiccups while drinking the water ignore them and keep on going,  THE PROCESS IS STILL WORKING!

Happy Meatless Monday 102819




Easy Bean Dip




Ingredients
1 garlic clove minced, or ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ cup onion, chopped
15 oz. can of beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl or blender.  Mash or blend together.  Serve with crackers or veggies.

Happy Meatless Monday 102119




Spinach & Bean Quesadillas



Ingredients
2 tablespoons oil
Cooked black beans (or beans of choice)
Spinach
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
Shredded vegan cheese
(10 inch) flour tortillas

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Add spinach, beans, garlic powder, chili powder.  Saute' till desired doneness of spinach.   Place mixture on tortillas, top with cheese.  Fold tortillas over, pressing lightly with fork to flatten.  Return tortillas to greased skillet, cook over medium heat until golden brown on each side and cheese is melted (about 3 minutes).

Happy Meatless Monday 101419




So Good For You broth



Ingredients
Onion (fresh and powdered)
Garlic (fresh and powdered)
Ginger (fresh and powdered)
Liquid Aminos (like a soy sauce)
Lemon, squeeze of juice, add lemon wedge to pot
Seaweed Snacks
Salt
Black pepper
Cayenne
Basil
Curry
OPTION:  If desired, add cooked rice or noodles to make it more filling.

Put water in a large soup pot, bring to boil, add all of the above ingredients to taste.

Happy Meatless Monday! 100719




Ultra Quick & Easy Creamy Tomato Soup


Ingredients
Oat milk (or nut milk of choice)
Organic ketchup
Basil flakes
(Optional)  Crushed red pepper flakes for a spicier version

Put desired servings of milk in saucepan, simmer to heat.  Add ketchup to taste. Add basil flakes – heat till hot.
That’s it – you’re done!

Happy Meatless Monday 093019




TSO Delicious Casserole
 Ingredients
Tomato
Spinach
Onion
Olive oil
Vegan butter
Vegan Cheese shreds
Ritz crackers
Sea Salt
Black pepper
Paprika
Basil

Stir fry tomato, spinach, onion in a little olive and vegan butter.  Season with sea salt, black pepper, paprika and basil.  At desired doneness top with crushed Ritz crackers and vegan cheese shreds. 
Options:  1)toss in cooked pasta before adding toppings 2) Bake in oven to further melt cheese

Happy Meatless Monday!




Zoe’s Dandelion pasta

Ingredients
Dandelions
Sea Salt
Black pepper
Garlic
Onion
Tomatoes
Lemon
Pasta of choice (I used spaghetti)
Vegan cheese

Sauté onion, garlic, tomatoes, chopped dandelions in a little oil.  Season with salt and pepper.  At desired doneness squeeze in fresh lemon then add vegan cheese.  Toss with cooked pasta.

Don't kill the spider


Hello World!

DON’T KILL THE SPIDER

Early one morning while exercising I saw something that freaked me out a little bit. It looked like a spider was suspended in midair with nothing attached to it. The spider was going up and down seemingly floating in space. Well I knew it was attached to something, I just could not see it at the time but the spider (all while minding its own business) was irritating me. So I thought I’d stop exercising for a minute SO I COULD KILL THE SPIDER when Holy Spirit said to me, “Don’t kill that spider!” “The spider is in its own ecosystem existing. Do not leave your ecosystem to go into its to harm it. It’s not bothering you!” PAUSE…… O.K., all right., so I went back to exercising and when I looked again the spider was gone on its merry little way. A few minutes later along came a fly and Holy Spirit said, “Same thing!” “The spider may or may not have an appointment with the fly but you don’t have an appointment with either one!”

Take aways:
Stay in your own lane
Concentrate on you
First do no harm
Purposely picking on another that I view as lesser or inferior does not make me greater or superior. We all have a part to play.

Keeping it 100!


Hello World!

Traveling on the Amtrak the other day I was concerned that the doors in between the cars did not line up.  My first thoughts were:  How do you go from one car to the next when the doors seem misaligned?  I spent some time staring at this (too much time LOL), when The Conductor assured me that the cars are connected.  You simply have to press the button to exit the car you’re in, stay focused on where you’re headed and press the button to enter the desired car.   Don’t look backwards – don’t look down, just expect to enter and focus on the next car ahead.  Later I saw how this is like going from faith to faith as I was making this trip believing the whole time to get from one point to the next, Michigan to Virginia, to attend my friend’s wedding.  It was my first time going to Virginia Beach and my first time on the train but I never allowed doubt and unbelief to affect the promised destination.  MADE IT!!!!!!!  Had the time of my life!  Kept it 100!

So this morning Holy Spirit says to me: "Thanks for keeping it 100!"
He then went on to explain that whatever I am believing for, He already has that in the Super if I will allow faith to flow and continue to believe in the natural.  The cars are connected.
