Grandma said
to me: “Little girl, this is how you get
rid of those hiccups.” 1) Get yourself a
tall glass of water (about 16 ounces will do).
2) Breathe deeply in and out several times to make sure your lungs are
oxygenated (that’s a grandma word). 3)
Take a breath and hold it (don’t let it out).
4) While holding that breath take little sips and swallows of the water until
it’s all gone. When the water is all gone – your hiccups will be too!
